This member-only webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, August 8th from 3-4 PM (EST). AARP and Applied Self-Direction recently partnered to look at innovative practices that four states used to improve accessibility and quality in their self-directed LTSS programs. Findings from this study were recently published by AARP in a report entitled "Taking it to the Next Level: Using Innovative Strategies to Expand Options for Self-Direction". This webinar will provide an overview of the innovative strategies that Texas, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Florida have taken to develop and expand self-directed services programs for a range of self-directing populations, coordinate and personalize service options to assure person-centeredness, and respond to managed LTSS. The webinar will also address innovative practices that Florida has taken to develop a partnership program with the Veterans Administration. Kathleen Ujvari from AARP and Merle Edwards-Orr from Applied Self-Direction will lead the webinar.
