The National Resource Center for Participant-Directed Services (NRCPDS) has offered a biennial Financial Management Services (FMS) Conference for the past 10 years. With the NRCPDS moving to Applied Self Direction, we are excited to announce that we are building on the successful FMS Conference to host a Self Direction Conference. The Self Direction Conference will be held on May 8th-9th, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD.

    Self Direction Conference Sponsorship Opportunities

    All of the events, activities, and items listed below are available for sponsorship or co-sponsorship on a first- come first-served basis.

    Networking and Self Direction Awards Reception: $12,000

    1 available

    Following a full meeting agenda on Monday May 8th, conference attendees will join for a reception where they can reconnect with their colleagues. We will also announce the first Self Direction Conference Self Direction Awards for winners nominated by their peers. The Networking and Self Direction Awards Reception is 2 hours in length, giving sponsors high-quality, focused visibility for the full length of the reception. Sponsors of the Networking Reception will be recognized in the following ways:

    • All benefits of the Diamond sponsorship.
    • Logo displayed in a frame near each bar during the event.
    • Opportunity to welcome attendees to reception (optional).
    • Opportunity to present awards at reception (optional).
    • Opportunity to set up a booth during the Reception to provide materials and have conversations with attendees. Booths are only available to the Reception sponsor meaning there will be only one booth at the event.
    • A spreadsheet of conference attendee names, organizations, and email addresses.
    • Inclusion in an email to all conference attendees thanking meal and reception sponsors. The email will include up to 200 words about the sponsor written by the sponsor.

    Luncheon: $6,000 for co-sponsorship

    Conference attendees will enjoy a buffet lunch while networking between sessions. The Luncheon is 1 hour in length, giving sponsors high-quality, focused visibility for the full length of the meal. Luncheon Sponsors will be recognized in the following ways:

    • All benefits of the Emerald sponsorship.
    • Logo displayed in a frame on buffet tables during the meal.
    • Opportunity to set up a booth during lunch to provide materials and have conversations with attendees. Booths are only available to Luncheon co-sponsors meaning there will be a maximum of two booths during the meal.
    • A spreadsheet of conference attendee names, organizations, and email addresses.
    • Inclusion in an email to all conference attendees thanking meal and reception sponsors. The email will include up to 200 words about the sponsor written by the sponsor.

    Conference attendees will enjoy Breakfast while networking with colleagues. The Breakfast is 45 minutes in length, giving the sponsor high-quality, focused visibility for the full length of the meal. The Breakfast Sponsor will be recognized in the following ways:

    • All benefits of the Emerald sponsorship.
    • Logo displayed in a frame on buffet tables during the meal.
    • Opportunity to set up a booth during lunch to provide materials and have conversations with attendees. Booths are only available to Luncheon co-sponsors meaning there will be a maximum of two booths during the meal.
    • Special sponsor name badge for attendee(s) representing your organization.
    • A spreadsheet of conference attendee names, organizations, and email addresses.
    • Inclusion in an email to all conference attendees thanking meal and reception sponsors. The email will include up to 200 words about the sponsor written by the sponsor.

    Sponsor a Program Administrator Scholarship: $2,500

    Often self direction program administrators who work for a Medicaid agency, State Unit on Aging, or Aging and Disability Resource Center want to attend the conference, but cannot for financial reasons. The 2017 Self Direction Conference will offer scholarships to which program administrators can apply. Scholarship awardees will attend the conference, with their airfare, hotel, and conference registration covered by the scholarship. Sponsors will be honored at our Self Direction Awards Reception. All scholarship sponsors will be introduced to all scholarship award winners at the Networking and Awards Reception. Sponsors will not be matched with individual scholarship winners to avoid conflict of interest between states and possible or existing vendors.

    Friend of the NRCPDS: $500

    Increase your organization’s exposure during the conference by becoming a Friend of the NRCPDS sponsor. This sponsorship includes a special sponsor name badge for attendee(s) representing your organization and acknowledgment on the conference website and in conference materials.

    Sponsor a Self-Directing Participant: $391

    Often self-directing participants and family members want to attend the conference, but cannot for financial reasons. As a sponsor, you will cover the registration cost for a self-directing participant or family member to attend the two-day conference. This sponsorship includes a special sponsor name badge for attendee(s) representing your organization and acknowledgment on the conference website and in conference materials.
