Developing and Implementing Quality Improvement Systems and Performance Measures for Self-Directed Service Programs and FMS and I&A Support Entities

2017 Self Direction Conference Breakout Session: The provision of high-quality HCBS, including self-directed services and supports, Financial Management Services (FMS) and Information & Assistance (I&A), are essential to address the needs of elders and individuals with disabilities of all ages so they can live in their homes and communities. This session focused on the key issues related to developing and implementing Quality Improvement Systems and performance measures for States and FMS and I&A entities to monitor the adequacy and quality of self-directed services and supports provided.
