Senate advances paid sick leave bill for home health aides after removing other essential workers originally included

The Virginia Senate narrowly passed a bill mandating paid sick leave for home health care workers, including consumer-directed workers, who care for Medicaid recipients after severely limiting the scope of which essential workers would be included in the legislation.  View the full story here.
