Judith Davis, the IRS internal expert on Home Health Care Service Recipients (HHCSRs) and Michelle Weigelt, IRS Office of Chief Counsel attorney in the Employment Tax Branch, present updates from the IRS that impact Fiscal/Employer Agents serving participant direction programs. Updates include information on obtaining Employer Identification Numbers (EINs), Schedule R for Forms 941 and 940, serving as a Fiscal/Employer Agent as a nonprofit and deposit frequency requirements. Ms. Davis and Ms. Weigelt answer questions previously submitted by NRCPDS’ network of participant direction and Financial Management Services stakeholders for “Ask the IRS.” The session was part of the 2011 FMS Conference.
