What Happens When a Caregiver is No Longer Capable or Alive to Administer the Self-Direct Model of Care? Rick Thompson, parent and the Executive Director of Champions Community Foundation and Rita Young, parent and private consultant, will discuss a new Georgia-based project that is underway seeking answers to this critical issue. Despite the additional responsibilities placed on the caregiver or individual, the program is successful, and families are satisfied with the model of care.
